Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous warehouse training or powered industrial truck training is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

  • Experience operating forklifts or other powered industrial equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Ability to load, unload, move, stack, and organize palletized materials.
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and safe equipment operation.
  • Ability to accurately identify inventory, shipping documentation, and storage locations.
  • Strong attention to detail, dependable attendance, and commitment to workplace safety.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or shipping and receiving is preferred.
  • Current forklift certification or experience operating multiple classes of powered industrial equipment is beneficial.
  • Experience using RF scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), or inventory software is considered an asset.
  • Individuals who demonstrate safe operating practices, teamwork, reliability, and productivity are well positioned for success as a %%job-title%%.

Physical Capabilities

  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and climb on and off powered industrial equipment throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift, move, or reposition materials weighing up to 50 pounds when required.

  • Ability to maintain awareness of surrounding personnel, equipment, and inventory while operating powered industrial vehicles.
