Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
  • Current DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate required as applicable.

Experience Requirements

  • Valid Class B CDL with a safe driving record.
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations, vehicle safety procedures, and defensive driving practices.
  • Ability to perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and complete required documentation.
  • Experience safely operating straight trucks, box trucks, or other Class B commercial vehicles.
  • Strong communication skills, customer service, and time management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous Class B commercial driving, local delivery, or route driving experience is preferred.
  • Experience delivering products, loading and unloading freight, and working directly with customers is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of electronic logging devices (ELDs), routing software, transportation documentation, or freight handling is considered an asset.
