Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid Class B Commercial Driver License (CDL) with Hazardous Materials (H) endorsement and current DOT Medical Card required.

Experience Requirements

• At least one year of recent commercial CDL driving experience is typically required.
• Valid Class B CDL with Hazardous Materials (H) endorsement and current DOT Medical Card.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations, Hazmat transportation requirements, vehicle inspections, cargo securement, and safe commercial driving practices.
• Ability to complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintain accurate logs and shipping documentation, and safely handle local pickups and deliveries.
• Ability to meet applicable motor vehicle record, FMCSA Clearinghouse, background, drug screening, and other regulatory requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous local Class B Hazmat driving experience is preferred.
• Experience delivering to warehouses, manufacturing plants, commercial customers, docks, or industrial facilities is beneficial.
• Experience with set local routes, multiple daily stops, live unloads, drop-and-hook operations, electronic logging devices, or customer delivery documentation is considered an asset.
• Individuals who show up prepared, inspect their equipment carefully, protect their freight, keep their paperwork accurate, drive smart, and make safety the priority on every load are well positioned for success as a %%job-title%%.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to sit for extended periods while safely operating a commercial vehicle.

What You Will Do
